Private, For 2, and small group lessons in the SEW COOL STUDIO! just off the S.I. Expressway near the Varazzano Bridge.
Sewing lessons for kids (9 and older), Mom n' Daughter, teens and Adults. Machine and hand sewing and finishes.
A great space with cutting tables, lighting, dressforms; everything you need to learn to sew or advance your skills.
Bring your own machine and get the maximum learning from your lesson!
April Schedule
- Learn to drive your machine - test-drive all the features that you didn't know you have! Take home a "booklet" of your stitches and new-found confidence! 2 hrs. $45.00 weekdays and Saturday AM
- Begin at the beginning - Sewing terms, measuring your figure and choosing your first project. 2 hrs. $45.00
Public School SPRING BREAK !
- Mon & Tues April 21 & 22 10 AM to noon Its a Wrap- make a reversible wrap skirt for your American Girl Doll. A 4 hour class. All supplies included. Choice of four fabrics and trim that makes it pop! Machine and hand sewing
Ages 9 + $75.00 minimum of two students. Private class is available for $100.00
- Wed & Thurs April 23 & 24 10AM to noon Mother's Day Cake Pin Cushion - 4 hour class using hand stitches, embroidery & bead application to make an adorable 3-dimensional confection! All supplies included. Ages 9 to teen.
$65.00 with minimum of two students, private lesson available for $90.00
- Project Funway - this my debut Project Funway lesson: To make a skirt with your choice of 3 elements - fabric, trim and accessory. Each skirt will be designed, made and modeled by you! Requires 2- 4 students.
Wed, Th & Fri 12:30 - 2:00 and Sat 10-12 or 1-3. Ambitious Beginners welcome! Ages 10+
6 1/2 hour lesson $125.00 includes all materials, tools and equipment!
